Overview

• Inside the Croydon Park home were a 44-year-old man, three women aged between 40 and 71, and two children; all occupants escaped unharmed.
• Witnesses reported seeing the shooter flee in a white hatchback that drove off northbound along Tavistock Street.
• At about 11:25pm a separate shooting struck a Prairiewood unit occupied by an 80-year-old woman who was not injured.
• Police identified a white Ford Ranger near the Prairiewood scene but say it appears unconnected to the earlier Croydon Park shooting.
• Authorities have called on anyone with dashcam footage or information to contact New South Wales Police or Crime Stoppers.
