Gunman Kills Police Officer, Injures Others in North Dakota Ambush

A man opened fire on police officers responding to a traffic crash in Fargo, North Dakota, killing one officer.
The shooter was armed with multiple guns, over 1,800 rounds of ammunition, explosives, and had searched online about mass shootings.
Two other officers and a civilian were injured before the gunman was shot dead by police.
The slain officer was a military veteran who will receive full honors at his funeral.
Authorities believe the gunman may have been planning a larger attack due to his arsenal and internet activity.
