Gunman Hospitalized After Shootout with SWAT Team in Arkansas

A man who crashed his car into a massage parlor and fired at officers was shot and is now under investigation.

A man in Conway, Arkansas, rammed his vehicle into a Massage Envy franchise at the Lewis Crossing Shopping Center and engaged in a gunfight with a SWAT team.
The gunman barricaded himself inside the business before shooting at the officers, who then returned fire, striking him. He was subsequently hospitalized.
No officers were injured during the incident, but some were placed on administrative leave pending an investigation by the Arkansas State Police.
The area around the Lewis Crossing Shopping Center was temporarily closed, and nearby businesses were evacuated as a precaution.
