• LAPD officers first arrived around 11 p.m. Sunday to shut down an unauthorized warehouse afterparty for Hard Summer after spotting a possibly armed attendee.
• A suspect was arrested at the scene before officers cleared the venue.
• Police returned around 1 a.m. Monday after reports of gunfire, finding one man dead at the scene while a second victim later succumbed at a hospital.
• Six other partygoers sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to area hospitals, with two in critical condition.
