• An SUV carrying 12 students overturned around 1:30 am near Jangvad village in Jasdan taluka, Rajkot district.
• The deceased were identified as Naresh Kodavati, 19, Mothi Harsha, 17, and Afrid Syed, 17, all from Andhra Pradesh.
• The group from RK University was traveling in a rented vehicle for a holiday to the coastal town of Diu.
• Atkot police attributed the crash to loss of control by the student driver on a state highway bend.
• The bodies were shifted to Rajkot Civil Hospital for postmortem, and two injured students with fractures were discharged after treatment.
