Overview
- Police say Hyderabad-based Dr Ahmed Mohiyuddin Saiyed and two men from Uttar Pradesh planned to extract ricin to contaminate public water and temple prasad in Delhi, Ahmedabad and Lucknow.
- Investigators recovered about four litres of castor-derived material along with three pistols and 30–35 live cartridges from a car intercepted near the Adalaj toll plaza in Gujarat.
- ATS sources report the accused conducted reconnaissance at Delhi’s Azadpur mandi, Ahmedabad’s Naroda fruit market and an RSS office in Lucknow, and that two of them also travelled to Kashmir for recce.
