Overview

• A joint operation by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Indian Coast Guard intercepted 300 kg of suspected methamphetamine valued at ₹1,800 crore on the night of April 12-13, 2025.
• The smugglers, upon spotting the approaching Coast Guard ship, dumped the narcotics into the Arabian Sea and fled across the International Maritime Boundary into Pakistani waters.
