Gujarat Approves ₹4,179 Crore for Urban Projects Under 2025 Scheme

Most funds go to roads, civic infrastructure, water supply, drainage improvements.

  • Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved ₹4,179 crore for urban projects under the Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana.
  • ₹3,768 crore is earmarked for core civic upgrades covering urban mobility, roads, public amenities.
  • A total of ₹219 crore will support Gaurav Paths, flagship urban roads in cities such as Morbi, Nadiad, Rajkot.
  • Water supply lines, stormwater drainage works across Morbi, Savarkundla, Dhanera will receive ₹93 crore.
  • The plan allocates ₹82 crore for outgrowth-area development around Rajkot, Patan with ₹2.72 crore dedicated to a public–private partnership scheme in Visnagar, Borsad, Viramgam.
