Guinness Certifies 27-Meter Santa Claus in Londrina as the World’s Largest

• Guinness World Records confirmed the Londrina installation as the largest Santa Claus after an on-site evaluation on December 5.
• The structure stands 27 meters tall, weighs 15 tonnes, and uses approximately 450,000 LED lights.
• An independent professional designated by Cecal conducted the measurement with two witnesses, and a technical report was submitted to judge Susana Reynes.
• The decoration was procured by the municipality for R$1.89 million, and builder Ativa Luzes spent R$148,000 to meet Guinness application requirements.
• Mounted on a barge at Lago Igapó II, the installation surpasses the previous 21-meter record held by Águeda, Portugal.
