Guerrilla Games Confirms End of Killzone Series

After a decade, Guerrilla Games is focusing entirely on the Horizon franchise, leaving Killzone behind.

Guerrilla Games has officially declared that it is done with the Killzone series, having shifted focus to the Horizon franchise since 2017.
Art director Roy Postma stated that the studio needed a change and chose to create something opposite to Killzone's dark themes.
The Horizon series, known for its vibrant world and relatable themes, continues to expand with upcoming projects like Lego Horizon Adventures and Horizon Online.
Lego Horizon Adventures, co-developed with Studio Gobo, is set to release on November 14 for PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Despite fans' hopes, Guerrilla Games shows no interest in reviving Killzone, suggesting any future projects would need to come from a different studio.
