Gucci Unveils Documentary on Creative Director Sabato De Sarno

Narrated by Paul Mescal, the film offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Gucci Ancora fashion show.

Gucci has released a documentary titled 'Who Is Sabato De Sarno? A Gucci Story,' narrated by actor and brand ambassador Paul Mescal, offering an unprecedented glimpse into the creative process of its new creative director, Sabato De Sarno.
The 20-minute film, directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost, showcases the week leading up to De Sarno's debut runway show for Gucci, featuring interviews with collaborators and personal moments.
The documentary will be available on streaming platform Mubi, with an enhanced edition set to release on Apple Vision Pro on April 3, marking a first for the fashion and luxury industry.
Gucci plans to host screenings of the documentary in major cities worldwide and has partnered with Air France to make it available on all flights throughout April.
Sabato De Sarno, who previously worked at Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Valentino, was named Gucci's creative director in January 2023, succeeding Alessandro Michele.
