• Two intruders drove a Fiat Panda to Valentino Garavani’s Appia Antica villa on Sunday evening and forced their way through the garden fence.
• The villa’s security guard detected the suspects on CCTV and fired a warning shot that drove them off before they could reach the residence.
• Guests and collaborators inside the villa were unharmed and only learned of the break-in attempt when the shot prompted a rapid police call.
• Investigators have confiscated all camera footage and are analyzing vehicle data to reconstruct the suspects’ escape route.
