Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Dominates Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Award

The Marvel film, recognized for its record-breaking use of prosthetics, sees one of its artists, Kevin Haney, set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 leads the Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Award nominations, being recognized for special makeup effects, period and character makeup, period hair styling, character hair styling and contemporary makeup.
The film broke the world record for most prosthetics used in a film, with over 22,500 prosthetics, 500 wigs, and 130 facial hairpieces.
The awards honor achievements in make-up and hair styling artistry across motion pictures, television, commercials, music videos, and live theater.
Winners will be announced on February 18 at the 2024 MUAHS Awards ceremony.
Oscar- and Emmy-winning make-up artist Kevin Haney, who worked on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
