Guardians ace Bieber placed on IL with elbow inflammation, awaits consultation with specialist

Bieber's elbow discomfort began a few weeks ago and worsened during his last start on July 9.
The two-time All-Star was placed on the 15-day IL retroactive to July 13 and will consult with Rangers physician Dr. Keith Meister.
