• Paco Pérez Bedmar, 87, disappeared from Almuñécar’s seaside promenade on March 22, 2024, during his routine evening walk.
• José Jurado Montilla, known as ‘Dinamita Montilla,’ recorded a TikTok video on March 24 saying he was at Almuñécar station with low battery and heading to Valencia on foot.
• Bedmar’s family handed the TikTok video to the Guardia Civil and formally requested geolocation of Montilla’s phone to determine any proximity on the day of the disappearance.
• Guardia Civil has obtained a list of devices connected to local antennas but has not yet verified whether Montilla’s phone was among them.
• Investigative sources have indicated that there is so far no evidence linking Montilla to the case even as the family calls for the UCO to assume control and avoid further loss of evidence.
