- A Forward Command Post on Miramar beach coordinated the multiagency response involving Guardia Civil’s Aerial Service, Canine Service, SEPRONA, Citizen Security, and local police from Oliva and Miramar.
- Around 2:30 PM, the aerial unit spotted the pair by Camí Pont de Xato and the canine team with dog Boris confirmed their exact location.
- Rescuers evacuated the man by helicopter to Bellreguard’s football field before he was taken to the local health center for severe dehydration and sunstroke treatment.
- The man is now in stable condition at a regional hospital and his dog was unharmed during the operation.
