Overview

• Operation PIPA began in April with the theft and recovery of vehicles in Benicarló and Torreblanca that led investigators to a cross-regional network
• The suspects executed nocturnal ram-raids on businesses across eight provinces using sledgehammers and fire extinguishers to destroy evidence
• In the final raid south of Madrid, agents seized a stolen luxury vehicle, heavy mazas, lock-breaking tools and €3,500 in cash
• Recovered goods and cash have been returned to their owners and case files have been submitted to the Juzgado de Instrucción nº6 de Castellón
• The four men now face charges including belonging to a criminal organisation, robberies with force, vehicle theft, document forgery and usurpation of civil status
