• Guardia Civil agents detained three suspects following coordinated raids in Torre de la Horadada as part of Operation Parrocha.
• House searches uncovered a semiautomatic pistol, ammunition of various calibres and several bladed weapons.
• Judicial authorities in Orihuela have charged the detainees with five counts of attempted homicide and one count of illicit arms possession.
• Forensic inspection at the scene collected six shell casings and a projectile and enabled investigators to identify the rental car used in the July 2 attack within 24 hours.
• Operation Parrocha was led by Pilar de la Horadada’s judicial police team with support from local police, GRS Valencia and USECIC Alicante.
