Göteborg Film Festival 2025 Highlights Nordic Cinema and Global Disobedience Theme

Julie Delpy and Thomas Vinterberg will receive honorary awards, while retrospectives honor their work and celebrate Swedish filmmaker Maj Zetterling's centennial.
Gender representation remains a challenge, with women directing 44% of selected films, despite efforts toward parity in the Nordic and international lineups.
