  • A private wake was held on June 16 at the Ronda de Dalt funeral home in Barcelona with a subsequent intimate funeral service.
  • He represented the fourth generation of the Suqué Mateu family behind the Grupo Peralada empire, spanning wine resorts, hotels, restaurants, casinos, automotive ventures and cultural festivals.
  • Under the group’s stewardship, Grupo Peralada reported over €260 million in revenue in 2023 and launched the Hispano Suiza HS Carmen electric vehicle in 2019.
  • Following his death, his siblings Javier and Isabel have stepped in to oversee the family’s diverse businesses.
