- Michael William Boston, 40, pleaded guilty to one count before U.S. District Judge Christy Criswell Wiegand in Pittsburgh.
- Prosecutors said he transported material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor in interstate commerce on Oct. 25, 2022.
- In entering the plea, he accepted responsibility for additional transports in April and July 2023 and for possessing more than 1,500 images and videos.
- Sentencing is set for Jan. 20, 2026, with a statutory range of five to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000, subject to the Sentencing Guidelines.
- Homeland Security Investigations and the Pennsylvania State Police’s Northwest Computer Crime Unit led the investigation, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Kelly M. Locher is prosecuting the case.
