Overview

  • Grounded 2 entered Early Access on July 29 on Steam and Xbox Series X|S and is available day one through Xbox Game Pass.
  • The sequel resumes immediately after the first game as players awaken in an Ominent lab and explore a ruined Brookhollow Park roughly three times larger than the original backyard.
  • The new Omni-Tool consolidates axes, shovels, hammers and more into a single upgradeable gathering device.
  • Players can hatch soldier ant eggs into rideable buggies for faster traversal, automated resource gathering and combat support.
  • Unreal Engine 5 enhancements deliver richer lighting, textures and a more immersive day-night cycle while Obsidian commits to major updates every four to five months based on player feedback.
