Overview

• Players can purchase the Hatchery blueprint for 500 Science Points at any Ranger Station after completing the Missed Connection questline.
• Constructing a Hatchery at the player’s base requires 6 Weed Stems, 1 Acorn Top, 5 Acorn Shells and 5 Mite Fuzz to incubate bug eggs.
• Red Soldier Ant eggs must be carried one at a time out of the Hatchery Anthill’s dark lab tunnels before a 12-hour in-game incubation produces a mount with storage, gathering and combat support.
• The Orb Weaver Spider buggy is unlocked through the Networking mission, requires a spider nest, 5,000 Science Points and special saddle materials, and also incubates in 12 in-game hours.
• Obsidian’s early access roadmap teases a fall hotpouch feature, a winter ladybug buggy and expanded mount mutations, customization and progression.
