Overview

• Unlocking the Red Soldier Ant buggy requires completing the Missed Connection questline to access the 500 science-point Hatchery blueprint at the Ranger Station’s Science Shop.
• Building the Hatchery at base demands six weed stems, one acorn top, five acorn shells and five mite fuzz.
• Players must venture into the Hatchery Anthill’s Ominent lab to grab a Red Soldier Ant egg from a metal trolley and can also find extra eggs under the Picnic Table in the Toxic Anthill.
• Incubation in the hatchery takes 12 in-game hours, approximately 25 minutes of real time, before the mount hatches.
• The Red Soldier Ant mount provides additional storage, can gather resources and assist in combat, and players can collect more eggs to expand their buggy fleet.
