• About 6,000 participants take part in Tocht om de Noord across Het Hogeland on Saturday and Sunday, starting between 06:30 and 11:30 and finishing by 18:00.
• Delfzijl stages Music Moves on Saturday from 13:00 and the Delfzielster Dweildag on Sunday from 13:00 to 18:00, both free in the town center.
• Asylum seeker centers hold a national open day on Saturday from 13:00 to 16:00 at locations in Groningen Eemsgolaan, Groningen Canadalaan, Winsum, Uithuizen and Winschoten.
• Forum Groningen hosts the premiere of Boy from the Dessa, a documentary about musician Rudy Lentze, on Saturday at 15:00 with a 125‑minute runtime and €5 tickets.
• Winschoten’s 200-year city rights celebration features an oldtimers show on Saturday from 13:00 to 16:00 in the city center with thirty classic cars and twenty vintage fire engines.
