Grizzlies' Marcus Smart Sidelined for 3-5 Weeks Due to Foot Sprain

Injury woes continue for Memphis Grizzlies, currently last in the Western Conference with a 2-9 record.

Memphis Grizzlies guard Marcus Smart will be out for three to five weeks due to a sprained left foot.
Smart, who was acquired by the Grizzlies this offseason, ranks third on the team in scoring, averaging 12.5 points a game.
The Grizzlies are already facing challenges with two-time All-Star guard Ja Morant suspended for the first 25 games this season and center Steven Adams ruled out for the season due to a knee injury.
Other injured players include Xavier Tillman Sr., Luke Kennard, and rookie GG Jackson II, while veteran guard Derrick Rose is questionable after missing seven games with a knee injury.
Despite being the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference for the past two seasons, the Grizzlies are currently last in the West with a 2-9 record.
