Grimes' Grok, a plush rocket ship, shares its name with an AI chatbot developed by her ex-partner, Elon Musk, but the two are unrelated.
Curio's Grok was trademarked before Musk's, with filings showing Curio requested the trademark on September 12, over a month before Musk's xAI filed on October 23.
Grimes and Musk are currently engaged in a custody battle over their three children.
