Overview

• Grifols will invest €160 million in an 80,000 m² facility adjacent to its Parets del Vallès site, expanding its biotech campus to a total of 25 hectares.
• The construction phase begins in late 2025 and is planned to conclude with full operations by 2030.
• The complex will house plasma fractionation, logistics operations, analysis laboratories, warehouses and dedicated space for Grifols Engineering.
• The project aims to create over 400 qualified jobs, lifting the combined workforce at Parets and Lliçà de Vall above 3,700 employees.
• Advanced technologies will drive campus operations, featuring intelligent resource management, circular economy practices and 100 percent renewable electricity to support growing demand for plasma-derived medicines.
