Griffin Gaming Partners Buys Playdigious’ Mobile Publishing Business From Fragbite for €10.5 Million

Fragbite keeps 90% of net revenue from Playdigious Originals’ existing PC catalog under the deal.

Overview

  • Griffin paid cash to acquire all shares in Playdigious along with the company’s assets and all game publishing rights.
  • The transaction moves Playdigious’ mobile publishing operation to Griffin, with noted mobile ports including Dead Cells, Loop Hero, Streets of Rage 4, Little Nightmares and Chants of Sennaar.
  • Fragbite originally purchased Playdigious in 2021 for €3 million in cash plus €2 million in shares, representing a clear uplift on exit.
  • Playdigious delivered 77% of Fragbite’s 2024 revenue and carried a book value of SEK 97.1 million at divestment, and Fragbite will detail the financial effects in its upcoming Q3 report.
  • Fragbite says proceeds strengthen its capital position to pursue a Bitcoin Treasury initiative, esports efforts and work-for-hire services, and it targets becoming self-sustaining within 6–12 months.
