Grenade Attack on BJP Leader’s Residence in Jalandhar Tied to ISI and Gang Networks

A grenade was thrown at BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia's residence in Jalandhar on April 8, 2025, causing property damage but no injuries.
Investigations confirmed the attack was orchestrated by Pakistan’s ISI in collaboration with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and Pakistani gangster Shahzad Bhatti.
CCTV footage captured two suspects arriving in an e-rickshaw and throwing the grenade, leading to their arrest within 12 hours of the incident.
This marks the 14th grenade attack in Punjab since November 2024, raising concerns about deteriorating law and order in the state.
Opposition leaders are demanding the resignation of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the state DGP, citing intelligence and security failures.
