• Greggs launched two £4 pulled pork sandwiches on June 5 with a classic apple sauce and crispy onion option or a BBQ version topped with slaw.
• The items are available at 20 participating stores across the North East, including sites in Sunderland, Gateshead and County Durham.
• Customers can order the new sandwiches in-store or via delivery through Just Eat and Uber Eats, and through Click + Collect on the Greggs App.
• Greggs has kicked off a month-long loyalty app offer in weekly phases, starting with double stamps on sandwiches purchased between 11am and 2pm.
• Customer feedback from the trial will determine whether the pulled pork sandwiches roll out to more sites nationwide.
