Greg Street and NetEase Announce New Remote Studio, Fantastic Pixel Castle, Developing Fantasy MMO Codenamed ‘Ghost’

'Ghost' MMO led by Greg Street is backing on a remote-first approach and strategic partnership with NetEase, including key talents from notable games such as World of Warcraft, Fortnite, and League of Legends.

Industry veteran Greg Street and NetEase Games have launched a new remote-first game development studio, Fantastic Pixel Castle.
The studio's first project is a AAA fantasy massively multiplayer online game (MMO) codenamed 'Ghost', set in a new fantasy universe.
Fantastic Pixel Castle boasts founding team members who have experience working on major games such as World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Guild Wars 2, Fortnite, Valorant and Overwatch.
Street, who previously worked on World of Warcraft and League of Legends, aims to keep the studio small and nimble for quick iteration on game design and to foster open communication with players for feedback.
NetEase Games' president of global investments and partnerships affirmed the company's full support for Fantastic Pixel Castle in developing the original fantasy IP.
More information about the team and the project 'Ghost' is expected to be shared on a scheduled AMA on Twitch on November 8.
