Greg Norman Joins Brisbane 2032 Olympics Organizing Board

The Australian golf legend and former LIV Golf CEO will help shape the Olympic Games in his home state of Queensland.

Greg Norman, a two-time British Open champion, has been appointed to the 24-member organizing committee for the Brisbane 2032 Summer Olympics.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese selected Norman to replace a retiring politician on the board overseeing the Games.
Norman expressed pride in contributing to the Olympics in his home state, noting that the Royal Queensland Golf Club, where he once worked, will host the golf tournament in 2032.
Sports Minister Anika Wells and organizing committee president Andrew Liveris praised Norman's global sporting experience and his strong ties to Queensland.
Norman's appointment follows his recent replacement as CEO of LIV Golf by Scott O'Neil earlier this month.
