- VDA analysis of KBA registrations through November 2025 shows grey/silver, black and white at 77.8% of new cars, roughly two million vehicles.
- Green exceeded 100,000 registrations (100,715), its strongest tally in more than two decades, and accounted for 3.9% of the market after a 26.5% year-over-year jump.
- Blue remained the top non-neutral choice with 267,075 registrations, with red at 101,706 narrowly ahead of green.
- Within the neutral palette, grey/silver and white lost share from early 2024 levels, while black gained slightly and the overall neutral share eased from 79.5% to 77.8%.
