Overview
- On the night of May 30, the Shoah Memorial, two synagogues in the 4th arrondissement and the Chez Marianne restaurant were sprayed with green paint.
- CCTV footage captured a lone individual dressed in black defacing the memorial at around 4:30 a.m., and police report that no arrests have been made.
- Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau condemned the acts as “heinous” and highlighted that anti-Semitic incidents now represent over 60 percent of anti-religious offences in France.
