Green Bay Packers Add Former Commanders Linebacker Jamin Davis to Practice Squad

The Packers signed Davis, a 2021 first-round pick, after his recent release from the Washington Commanders.

Jamin Davis, initially drafted 19th overall by Washington in 2021, joins the Packers' practice squad following his release.
Davis played 50 games with the Commanders, starting 36, but saw reduced playtime under a new coaching regime this season.
His most productive season was 2022, recording 104 tackles and three sacks, but struggled after being moved to defensive end in 2024.
The Packers, currently 6-2, are contenders in the NFC North and may soon promote Davis to their active roster.
Davis will work under Packers' defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, aiming to revitalize his career in a strong defensive setup.
