• More than 12,000 children completed the Junior and Mini races on Newcastle’s Quayside, covering 1.2km for Minis and 4km for Juniors.
• The main 13.1-mile course starts on Newcastle’s A167 near Claremont Road, crosses the Tyne to Gateshead, and finishes on the South Shields seafront.
