Overview

• The six-episode documentary premieres at 7:30 pm on Thursday, July 31, on SBS and will stream on SBS On Demand.
• Actor-producer Claudia Karvan and writer-performer Steph Tisdell form one driving duo while food critic Melissa Leong pairs with comedian Nazeem Hussain for the other.
• Producer Dan Goldberg says the unscripted format captures both illuminating banter and unforeseen moments — including a llama spitting at Hussain during filming in Tasmania.
• Mint Pictures produced the series for SBS with principal funding from Screen NSW, tracing routes from the Red Centre Way to the Grand Pacific Drive.
• All episodes will feature subtitles in Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean, plus audio description on SBS On Demand.
