Grandson of Tennis Icon Bobby Riggs Arrested on Child Sexual Abuse Charges

Riggs allegedly began sexually abusing a player he coached in 2021 when she was 15, with abuse continuing for nearly three years during domestic and international tennis trips.
The criminal complaint details Riggs' use of Snapchat to request explicit material from the minor and his attempts to conceal their communications by creating anonymous profiles.
Social media records indicate a possible second victim, and authorities are encouraging anyone with information to contact the FBI.
Riggs' pretrial detention hearing is scheduled for December 23, and the case is part of the DOJ's Project Safe Childhood initiative.
