  • Reno police officers arrived at the Grand Sierra Resort valet area at 7:25 a.m. and quickly exchanged fire with the gunman, ending the rampage within minutes.
  • Three people were killed and three others wounded when the unidentified shooter opened fire at random in the valet station and adjacent parking lot.
  • The suspect was critically wounded in the officer-involved shooting and remains hospitalized as authorities search for a motive.
