Overview
- The pop-up will be hosted at the GRAMMY Museum in downtown Los Angeles and will run from January 15 through March 16, 2026.
- Roughly 15 items will be loaned from the Selena Museum, with Suzette Quintanilla handpicking the selection alongside GRAMMY Museum curator Kelsey Goelz.
- All artifacts are sourced from the Selena Museum except guitars lent from the personal collection of Chris Pérez.
- Highlighted pieces include the white beaded Lillie Rubin gown from the 1994 GRAMMYs, the Amor Prohibido cover outfit with gold hoop earrings, her microphone marked with red lipstick, her GRAMMY and Lifetime Achievement Award, hand-drawn fashion designs, her personal cell phone, and family instruments.
- Exhibit text will be presented in English and Spanish, and organizers plan an interactive fan engagement element.
