Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Recipients Announced

Awards to be Presented at Special Merit Awards Ceremony on February 3

N.W.A., Laurie Anderson, Donna Summer, Gladys Knight, Tammy Wynette and The Clark Sisters have been announced as recipients of this year’s Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
The awards will be presented at the Special Merit Awards ceremony on February 3, preceding the Grammy Awards.
Trustees Awards will be given to Peter Asker, DJ Kool Herc, and Joel Katz for their significant contributions to the field of recording.
Technical Grammy Awards will be given to Tom Kobayashi and Tom Scott.
The song ‘Refugee’ (K’naan, Steve McEwan, Gerald Eaton) will be awarded Best Song for Social Change.
