  • On July 25 at Antón Lizardo, the Heroica Escuela Naval Militar commissioned 337 cadets, including 243 men and 94 women, representing a significant rise in female enrollment since the academy opened to women in 2008.

  • The naval ceremony featured a three-aircraft flyover and solemn tributes to cadets lost or injured in the Buque Escuela Cuauhtémoc accident in New York on May 17.
  • Concurrently in Mexico City, the Escuela Superior de Guerra commissioned 113 officers from the Army, Navy, Air Force, National Guard and allied nations under Defense Secretary General Ricardo Trevilla Trejo’s leadership.
  • The War College inauguration included upgraded training facilities and housing aimed at strengthening professional development and enhancing graduates’ family welfare.
