Overview

• Commemorative ceremonies concluded in Plaza General San Martín in Jujuy and in front of the Casa de Gobierno in Santiago del Estero.
• Events began with the national flag hoisted at half-mast at the hour of San Martín’s death, followed by silence, bell ringing and the laying of floral tributes by officials and institutions.
• Attendees joined a Solemn Tedeum at Parroquia Sagrado Corazón de Jesús with clergy invocations before civic, military and gaucho parades in the afternoon.
