Overview
- The Secretaría Nacional de Discapacidad issued Resolución 3702/2026 that leaves without effect a group of judicially restored disability pensions, a step that the government said affects 4,329 cases notified for lacking supporting documentation.
- That action follows a larger wave of revocations last week and brings the total number of pensions affected to about 26,141 in seven days, after an appellate court reversed a 2025 first-instance ruling that had ordered nationwide restitutions.
- Notified beneficiaries will have 60 calendar days from their notification to request rehabilitation by presenting updated medical records, identity data or other proof; the Secretariat said each file will be re-evaluated by its technical teams.
- The agency also opened three parallel review lines that target 7,008 people to expand medical evidence, 24,263 holders alleged to receive incompatible ANSES benefits, and 3,370 cases flagged for possible patrimonial irregularities, with 30‑day deadlines in some streams.
- The moves come as the Senate’s commissions issued a dictamen to bring a permanent Law of Disability to the floor that preserves the CUD and a pension equal to 70% of the minimum retirement benefit, formalizes audits and due‑process steps, and sets funding and payment rules that could affect beneficiaries and health providers.
