Government Restores 128 Services After Data Center Fire, Lifting Recovery to 19.8%

Officials are using the Chuseok break as golden time for recovery, with reserve funds under discussion.

  • Authorities reported 128 of 647 online services back online as of Friday night, including 12 first-tier government network systems, up from 17.8 percent earlier in the day to 19.8 percent.

  • Police raided the NIRS and three companies in a probe of the blaze and booked four people on suspicion of occupational negligence.
