Government Launches Weekend INSS Medical Exam Drive With Nearly 19,000 Slots

The effort expands capacity to reduce the backlog through hybrid appointments with centralized scheduling.

Overview

  • The operation runs Saturday and Sunday, December 6–7, with 18,868 medical exams planned, over 13,000 already booked and roughly 6,000 openings remaining.
  • Services will be offered in 92 INSS agencies across 22 states plus the Federal District, with Amapá, Goiás, Paraíba, Roraima and Sergipe not participating.
  • Appointments will be conducted in person or via Perícia Conectada, which follows the same standards for privacy, confidentiality and perito autonomy as on-site exams.
  • Scheduling is available through the 135 call center or the Meu INSS website or app, and applicants must attend at the confirmed time and place.
  • State allocations include 1,781 slots in Bahia, 701 in Piauí, about 738 in Pará, and more than 500 in the Federal District focused on BPC and temporary disability claims.
