Government Formalizes $70,000 October Pension Bonus With Payments From Oct. 8

A new decree provides a non-remunerative boost focused on minimum benefits.

Overview

  • Decree 700/2025, published in the Boletín Oficial, confirms an extraordinary $70,000 payment as a non-remunerative, non-discountable reinforcement.
  • Eligibility covers retirees and pensioners under ANSES, PUAM recipients, and non-contributory pensions including vejez, invalidez and mothers of seven or more children.
  • The full $70,000 goes to those on the minimum benefit, while higher haberes receive a proportional amount so the total reaches roughly $396,300 (minimum updated to about $326,298).
  • October benefits also carry a CPI-linked mobility update of about 1.88%–1.9% based on August inflation under the monthly indexation mechanism.
  • ANSES’ DNI-based calendar starts October 8; payments scheduled for Friday, October 10 may be reprogrammed due to the moved national holiday, with no official change yet confirmed.
