• The four-show series continues with Plastic Beach on September 2 before a September 3 ‘Mystery Show’ that has been rumored by outlets to preview new material.
• The residency recreates early-2000s staging with Jamie Hewlett’s animations foregrounding the virtual members as Damon Albarn and the live band play in silhouette behind a screen.
• Opening night featured the 2001 debut album in full, including first-ever live performances of Double Bass and Ghost Train alongside several songs not played live since 2002.
• The concerts coincide with the on-site House of Kong immersive exhibition, and Albarn and Hewlett have teased a new Gorillaz album expected later in 2025.
