Overview

• The 15-track album arrives March 20, 2026 as the first release on Gorillaz’s KONG imprint.
• Lead track The Happy Dictator featuring Sparks is out now as the first single.
• Guests span IDLES, Johnny Marr, Yasiin Bey, Anoushka Shankar, Black Thought, Bizarrap and Trueno, with performances in Arabic, English, Hindi, Spanish and Yoruba and archival voices from Bobby Womack, Dennis Hopper, Mark E. Smith, Proof, Tony Allen and Dave “Trugoy the Dove” Jolicoeur.
• Sessions took place at Studio 13 in London, in Devon and across Mumbai, New Delhi, Rajasthan and Varanasi, as well as Ashgabat, Damascus, Los Angeles, Miami and New York, produced with James Ford, Samuel Egglenton and Remi Kabaka Jr. plus a Bizarrap contribution.
• A UK and Ireland arena run begins March 21, 2026 and culminates June 20 at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with support from Sparks and Trueno.
